International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications (ICIRA 2011) (4th. 2011. Aachen, Alemania)We present a method for locating and determining the six degrees of freedom through a simple algorithm based on artificial vision. This algorithm can estimate the relative orientation of the camera with respect to a precise figure, it gives, roll, pitch and yaw, as well as the distance to the figure. We make use of the Euler number of a set of figures with a given distribution. We use the system to drive a small radio controlled car with the only assistant of the information gathered by a standard web-cam.engVisual control of a remote vehiclebook parthttp://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-642-25489-5_56#page-1http://link.springer.com/open access004Artificial VisionComputer VisionControlAutonomous VehiclesSix Degrees Of Freedom (6DOF)Informática (Informática)1203.17 Informática
