Al hablar de la exactitud de la memoria mencionamos los principales factores que la afectan, entre los que se mencionaba la demora como uno de los importantes. Tomando como base el modelo de Control de la Realidad de Johnson y Raye (1981) aplicamos los conocimientos sobre los procesos de control de metamemoria al estudio del efecto que la elaboración tiene sobre la discriminación entre memorias de origen externo y memorias de origen interno.
