A través del texto, «Su tabaco, gracias» (2002), la autora presenta, sin renunciar al humor crudo que caracteriza su teatro, el proceso de enloquecimiento de Miguel, quien sufre las consecuencias de una nueva sociedad donde los individuos ya no se escuchan. Con el teatro clásico como telón de fondo, la dramaturga presenta aquí una nueva tragedia, de carácter urbano y contemporánea en el tiempo, que habla sobre la incomunicación humana, el impacto de la tecnología y sus consecuencias sobre los individuosABSTRACT: The objective of this article is to study a short text written by the playwright and researcher Diana de Paco Serrano. Through the play, «Su tabaco, gracias» (2002), the author presents, without renouncing the crude humour that characterises her theatre, the process of Miguel’s madness, who suffers the consequences of a new society in which the invidious are no longer being listened to.
