Fragmentos urbanos después de la burbuja inmobiliaria: el caso de Madrid

Abstract

Las lógicas neoliberales tienen un impacto claro y a menudo diferenciado en las ciudades actuales pero resulta conveniente contrastar empíricamente los marcos teóricos provenientes de la tradición francesa o norteamericana, para poder entender las diferencias que se dan en las ciudades del sur de Europa. El objetivo es aplicar la teoría de la ciudad partida (Marcuse y Van Kempen, 2000) a través de análisis cuantitativo multivariable, explicando los procesos de segregación y las diferencias en los espacios sociales en la Comunidad de Madrid y su posible adecuación al modelo teórico que sostiene el crecimiento de las divisiones en los espacios urbanos.The neoliberal logics have a clear and often differentiated impact in the current cities, but it is convenient to contrast empirically the theoretical frameworks coming from the French or North American tradition, in order to understand the differences that exist in the cities of southern Europe. The objective is to apply the theory of the split city (Marcuse and Van Kempen, 2000) through multivariable quantitative analysis, explaining the processes of segregation and differences in social spaces in the Community of Madrid and its possible adaptation to the theoretical model that supports the growth of divisions in urban spaces.
