Abstract

The analysis of the housing and production units of this transitional period and its relationship with the surrounding landscape is crucial for a complete comprehension of these societies and of the existing relations between them, something we can get closer to thanks to landscape archaeology. This final degree project in History has been completed with the purpose of studying the evolution of this settlement, between the Iron Age and the first centuries of the romanization, in the region of the Alcarria of Cuenca. Through the analysis of primary sources, bibliographical and archaeological the intention has been to present all that we know of this region and understand the evolution of it during this historical period.
