Abstract
The performance of the students in the high school tests has become one of the controversial topics of the educational and social panorama in Gabon. The written test of Spanish (PEE) in high school has undergone many reforms at the level of the blocks of contents and punctuation. As a result of the reforms, when designing the training tests the application of the standard leaves room for various interpretations. It is a comparative study of the structure, blocks of contents and scoring of the training tests designed and applied in each institute. Through a descriptive-analytical analysis, 4 training tests were analyzed with the 60 blocks of questions that compose them. These tests correspond to the 2012-2013 academic year and were applied to 1,500 high school students. Annually, each institute organizes training tests (test) to exercise their students in the final exam. The results of the analysis indicate the existence of some divergent points in the PEE depending on the institute in which it is applied. The differences observed highlight the various interpretations of the basic legislation, which implies a certain difference in the training and several consequences in the performance of the students in the examination of the baccalaureate.
