El cine documental mexicano contemporáneo y las teorías dramáticas

Abstract

Desde hace mas de dos décadas, el cine documental mexicano ha contado historias sobre el acontecer en el país y en el mundo. Al mismo tiempo, ha puesto en la pantalla grande relatos íntimos, retratando personajes entrañables y deshaciendo estereotipos, identificándose con el público sin tomar en cuenta fronteras sociales, culturales y económicas de grupos y clases sociales. Este diálogo se ha logrado en gran parte, a partir de 2006 hasta la fecha. Los trabajos presentan una estructura dramática con herramientas como puesta en escena; construcción de personajes; puesta en cámara; guion; cinefotografía; diseño sonoro y montaje propias del cine de ficción. Para entender del avance género, es importante analizar las características de las películas documentales producidas. El objetivo de esta tesis fue conocer los cambios que ha habido en el cine documental contemporáneo mexicano a partir del análisis de sus formas, estructuras dramáticas y experiencia autoral. For more than two decades, Mexican documentary film has been in charge of telling the stories about everyday occurrence in the country and around the world. At the same time, it has carried out intimate stories to the big screen, portraying endearing characters and undoing stereotypes, identifying these stories with the public despite the social, cultural and economic boundaries of various groups and social classes of Mexico. This dialogue with people has achieved, in large part, since the feature film of the contemporary Mexican documentary (2006-2017) shows a dramatic structure with tools (staging; character building; camera-script; cinematography; sound design; montage) elements typical of fictional cinema. It is important, for the understanding and advancement of the genre, to analyze the characteristics of the documentary films that have been produced in contemporary Mexican cinema. Precisely, the objective of this thesis is to explore the changes that have taken place in contemporary Mexican documentary cinema from the analysis of its forms, its dramatic structures to the authorial experience.
