Abstract
ABSTRACT: 1 Enoch is a book of intertestamental nature which reports a developing angelology, where there is a certain kind of angels that draws special attention, i.e., the fallen angels. These beings are closely related to the stars in the sky. Thus, it isprecisely the aim of this paper to give a plausible explanation to this link. In order to achieve this, a concise survey about 1 Enoch and its angelology is provided, having the latter, at the same time, an important precedent in the Old Testament.
