Completando CIL II 850: acerca de un fragmento inédito de inscripción funeraria en Capera (Oliva de Plasencia, Cáceres)

Abstract

This article publishes a new fragment of an inscription from the Lusitanian city of Capera (Oliva de Plasencia, Cáceres). But, in addition to presenting an unpublished inscription, what is really interesting is that it is now possible to confirm that it corresponds to the previously unknown left half of an inscription (CIL II 850) known for centuries from epigraphic manuscripts, but now lost. Thus, given that we now know the complete text of this inscription, it is possible to offer new analyses of its format, its formulas and the onomastic details included in it.
