Abstract

This paper addresses a review on the application of the criteria of equality and non-discrimination in matters of sustainability of religious confessions in the European countries. The approach should be made considering the evolution that, in recent times, can be appreciated in the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights in relation to the prohibition of discrimination against minority religious groups, where significant adverse consequences to their financial autonomy might be envisaged
