Abstract
ABSTRACT. This Master's Thesis aims to propose an alternative water catchment to the only one currently active in the Saharawi refugee camp of Dakhla with criteria that guarantee the safety of its quality by promoting proposals that minimize the risks of contamination of the deep aquifer, through the establishment of a protection perimeter. Analyzing the geological and hydrogeological context, as well as the particularities of the camp itself, a potential area has been determined in which to drill the borehole. The main objective is that its location minimizes the probabilities of contamination at source. For this purpose, classical analytical approaches of delimitation of protection perimeters are used, contrasting different methods in order to find the optimal execution.
