Anthesis

Abstract

El Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid, CSIC, acogió la exposición titulada “Anthesis”, del 18 al 27 de junio de 2013. En la muestra participaron nueve artistas emergentes, con obras inspiradas en la botánica, todas de gran belleza plástica y resueltas con múltiples lenguajes estéticos. La comisaria de la exposición, Xana Kahle, fundadora de Fresh Art Project, marca que emplea para dar visibilidad a la obra de jóvenes artistas, en este caso alumnos del Grado en Bellas Artes y del Máster en Investigación, Arte y Creación de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, hizo la selección basándose en la calidad formal y conceptual de las propuestas artísticas. Participantes: Ana Zdravkovic, James O'Maille, J.R. Lozano, Karen Sandoval, Luis de la Plaza, Margarita Sánchez, Rafael Abad, Santiago López, Zeus Sánchez.

The Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid, CSIC, accepted the exhibition entitled “Anthesis”, which took place on the 18th to the 27th of June 2013. There participated 9 emerging artists, exhibiting works of art inspired in botany, all of them of great plastic beauty and solved with multiple esthetic languages. The organizer of the exhibition, Xana Kahle, founder of the Fresh Art Project and brand she uses to make visible the works of art of young artists and, in this case, students with a Degree of Fine Arts and Master in Investigation, Fine Arts and Artistic Creation of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the “Complutense” University of Madrid, made the selection based on the reliable and considered quality of the artistic proposals.
