Abstract
La inteligencia humana es un tema que ha atraído a numerosos estudiosos a lo largo de los años. Entre ellos, encontramos a Howard Gardner, padre de la Teoría de las Inteligencias Múltiples. Este autor defiende que el intelecto interviene en todas las habilidades del sujeto y que, por ello, la capacidad humana ha de ser entendida desde los diversos tipos de conocimiento a los que se accede de manera natural. Concretamente, define ocho tipos de inteligencia. Una buena manera de llevar esta perspectiva al aula de Educación Infantil es a través de EntusiasMAT (EMAT), un método innovador que nos permite, de manera organizada y atrayente, estimular la curiosidad y el interés de los alumnos por las diversas áreas de aprendizaje, especialmente por la lógico - matemática. Esta metodología se complementa con actividades para desarrollar la multiplicidad de inteligencias que posee el alumnado. Para lograrlo se muestran los contenidos desde diferentes perspectivas partiendo de las fortalezas de los educandos. Esta forma de trabajar, favorece la creación de un clima de aprendizaje enriquecedor y motivador, que nos permite mejorar los resultados académicos.
Human intelligence is a subject that has attracted numerous scholars over the years. Among them, we find Howard Gardner, father of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences. This author defends that the intellect intervenes in all the abilities of the subject and that, for this reason, human capacity has to be understood from the various types of knowledge to which it is accessed in a natural way. Specifically, it defines eight types of intelligence. A good way to bring this perspective to the Early Childhood Education classroom is through EntusiasMAT (EMAT), an innovative method that allows us, in an organized and attractive way, to stimulate the curiosity and interest of students in the various learning areas, especially for logical - mathematical. This methodology is complemented by activities to develop the multiplicity of intelligences that the students possess. To achieve this, the contents are shown from different perspectives based on the strengths of the students. This way of working favours the creation of an enriching and motivating learning climate, which allows us to improve academic results.
