| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación surge de la necesidad de encontrar nuevos métodos de análisis del dibujo como forma de expresión y comunicación gráfica debido a la gran complejidad que se deriva tanto de su naturaleza como de la interrelación establecida con el observador. Por tal motivo, proponemos una aproximación al dibujo desde un concepto científico que permite determinar la eficiencia dentro de los sistemas. A partir de la conexión señalada por algunos autores como Arnheim entre el concepto físico de entropía y el arte, en este estudio se han tratado de particularizar estos principios al ámbito del dibujo y se ha profundizado en dicha relación a partir de las aportaciones procedentes de múltiples disciplinas. El objetivo general de esta tesis ha sido, por tanto, demostrar el vínculo existente entre la entropía y el dibujo y comprobar, además, que es posible medir la eficiencia de este como sistema a partir del concepto entropía y proponer niveles de orden y desorden para el mismo. Con el fin de confirmar la utilidad de esta conexión entre dibujo y entropía, se han desarrollado también dos experiencias prácticas. En la primera de ellas se realizó un análisis de dibujos de distintas disciplinas y épocas con el fin de determinar tanto los niveles como la eficiencia de la información contenida en ellos. La segunda experiencia consistió en la creación de una serie de dibujos por parte del autor de este trabajo, teniendo como fuente de inspiración e instrumento de reflexión el concepto de entropía. En cuanto a las principales conclusiones de esta tesis, cabe destacar que el modelo de dibujo sistema-abierto propuesto podría considerarse de utilidad para la interpretación y análisis de este tipo de gráficos y también podría ser empleado durante el proceso creativo como herramienta de aproximación conceptual a la obra y de reflexión sobre la misma. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This research arises from the need to find new methods of analysis of drawing as a form of graphic expression and communication due to the great complexity that derives from both its nature and the interrelationship established with the observer. For this reason, we propose an approach to drawing from a scientific concept that allows to determine the efficiency within the systems. Based on the connection pointed out by some authors such as Arnheim between the physical concept of entropy and art, this study has tried to particularize these principles to the field of drawing and has deepened this relationship based on contributions from many disciplines. The general objective of this thesis has been, therefore, to demonstrate the link between entropy and drawing and also to prove that it is possible to measure the efficiency of drawing as a system based on the concept of entropy and to propose levels of order and disorder for it. In order to confirm the usefulness of this connection between drawing and entropy, two practical experiences have also been developed. In the first of these, an analysis of drawings from different disciplines and periods was carried out in order to determine both the levels and the efficiency of the information contained in them. The second experience consisted in the creation of a series of drawings by the author of this work, having the concept of entropy as a source of inspiration and a tool for reflection. As regards the main conclusions of this thesis, it should be noted that the proposed open-system drawing model could be considered useful for the interpretation and analysis of this type of graphics and could also be used during the creative process as a tool for a conceptual approach to the work and for reflection on it. | |
