Vida y profesión en el «Coloquio y diálogos militares» de Gonzalo Lozano: la experiencia al servicio del encomio en tres textos dialógicos de la segunda mitad del siglo XVI

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo se presenta y analiza una colección de diálogos militares escritos en la segunda mitad del siglo XVI por Gonzalo Lozano, un autor muy poco conocido, que hasta la fecha han permanecido inéditos. Se examinan los temas principales que se plantean en ellos y la caracterización de sus interlocutores, así como la relación que existe entre lo que se dice en los textos y las posibles circunstancias biográficas del autor, poniendo el acento en su relación con la milicia.ABSTRACT: This paper presents and analyzes a collection of military dialogues written in the second half of the 16th century by Gonzalo Lozano, an unknown author, which to date have remained unpublished. The main themes raised in them and the characterization of their interlocutors are examined, as well as the relationship that exists between what is said in the texts and the possible biographical circumstances of the author, emphasizing his relationship with the army.
