Abstract
El género cinematográfico de ciencia ficción se presenta como el escenario idóneo para abordar diversas cuestiones fundamentales que nos afectan como sociedad, desde los desarrollos científico-tecnológicos hasta la representación de los cuerpos artificiales. Como generador de imaginarios colectivos. El cine es un medio de comunicación que ofrece continuos modelos de comportamiento, favorece identificaciones y lleva aparejada la creación de representaciones sociales, así como de referentes sobre lo masculino y lo femenino dentro de una sociedad.El análisis efectuado a lo largo de esta investigación tiene como eje central la perspectiva de género. Trata de explorar en qué medida la construcción del futuro llevada a cabo en las películas de ciencia ficción reproduce o no los estereotipos de género presentes en la realidad actual, contribuyendo a alimentarlos y perpetuarlos o, por el contrario, a mitigarlos. The science fiction film genre presents itself as the ideal scenario to address various fundamental issues that affect us as society, from scientific and technological developments to the representation of artificial bodies. As a generator of collective imaginaries, it is a medium that offers continuous models of behavior, fostering identification and the creation of social representations of masculine and feminine references within a society.The central axis of this research revolves around the gender perspective, as it seeks to explore to what extent the construction of the future in science fiction films reproduces or not the gender stereotypes present in current reality, contributing to their perpetuation or, on the contrary, mitigating them.
