Abstract
En este trabajo se han caracterizado 49 cepas del VDVB, 46 aisladas principalmente en bovinos procedentes de distintas zonas geográficas de nuestro país y 2 cepas aisladas de una línea celular establecida (GBK) procedente de la “American Type Culture Collection” (ATCC). La mayoría de estas cepas (46 -93,9%-) pertenecieron al biotipo no citopático. Para la caracterización antigénica de estos aislados se utilizó un panel de 23 anticuerpos monoclonales dirigidos frente a las siguientes proteínas víricas: 1) gp48: proteína de la envoltura, 2) gp53: proteína de la envoltura que induce la aparición de Acs neutralizantes, y 3)p80/125: proteína no estructural altamente conservada entre los pestivirus y que además permite diferenciar entre aislados no citopáticos y citopáticos del VDVB...
In this work, 49 strains of the VDVB have been characterized, 46 isolated mainly in cattle from different geographical areas of our country and 2 strains isolated from an established cell line (GBK) from the “American Type Culture Collection” (ATCC). The majority of these strains (46 -93.9% -) belonged to the non-cytopathic biotype. For the antigenic characterization of these isolates, a panel of 23 monoclonal antibodies directed against the following viral proteins was used: 1) gp48: envelope protein, 2) gp53: envelope protein that induces the appearance of neutralizing Acs, and 3 ) p80 / 125: highly conserved non-structural protein among pestiviruses and which also allows differentiation between non-cytopathic and cytopathic isolates of VDVB...
