El fascismo pretendía mantener a las mujeres apartadas de la política. Su única participación en la vida pública del país era posible a través de las organizaciones fascistas femeninas. La caridad, los cursos de economía doméstica o la organización de manifestaciones a favor del régimen fueron las actividades a las que se vieron relegadas las mujeres fascistas.
