Medida de la vascularización papilar y otras pruebas estructurales en pacientes con glaucoma

Abstract

La prevalencia del glaucoma primario de ángulo abierto (GPAA) es mayor en la raza negra comparada a la raza blanca.(1) Actualmente, nuevas pruebas diagnósticas han demostrado tener una buena capacidad diagnóstica en el glaucoma como la apertura de la membrana de Bruch-mínima anchura del anillo (BMO-MRW), la capa de células ganglionares macular (GCL), la angiografía por tomografía de coherencia óptica (OCTA)y la hemoglobina (Hb) papilar medido por el programa Laguna ONhE.(2–5)▪ Objetivos La presente Tesis Doctoral incluye tres estudios (E1, E2 y E3) con sus respectivos objetivos.E1. Capacidad diagnóstica Laguna ONhE y SD-OCT1. Evaluar y comparar la capacidad diagnóstica entre el nivel de Hb papilar por el programa Laguna ONhE con el espesor de la capa de fibras nerviosas peripapilar (RNFLT, pRNFL), BMO-MRW y la GCL mediante la OCT de dominio espectral(SD-OCT).2. Determinar la correlación de los parámetros del programa Laguna ONhE con el estudio peripapilar (pRNFL, RNFLT, BMO-MRW) y diversos parámetros del estudio macular mediante la SD-OCT en pacientes con GPAA y en sujetos sanos.3. The prevalence of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is higher in Black race compared to Whites race.(1) New diagnostic tests have shown to have a good diagnostic capacity in glaucoma, such as Bruch's membrane opening-minimum ring width (BMOMRW),macular ganglion cell layer (GCL), optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) and papillary hemoglobin (Hb) measured by the Laguna ONhE program.(2–5)▪ Objectives This Doctoral Thesis includes three studies (E1, E2 and E3) with their respective objectives.E1.
