Bromear como acto de habla y la relatividad lingüística del humor

Abstract

La investigación sobre el bromear es central en el estudio de la relación entre lenguaje y humor. Se examina, en primer lugar, cómo el bromear puede analizarse usando las herramientas que proporciona la teoría de los actos de habla, en particular las empleadas por versiones neoaustinianas de la teoría. En segundo lugar, se aplican los resultados de la primera parte para formular una hipótesis acerca de la relatividad lingüística del humor, según la cual los hábitos de bromeo propios de una sociedad o de un grupo influyen de modo no trivial en el uso privado o individual del humor.The research on joking is at the center of the study of the relationship between language and humor. We firstly examine the possibility of analyzing joking using the tools provided by Speech Act Theory, in particular by neoaustinian versions of the theory. Secondly, the results obtained in the first part of the work are applied to set a hypothesis about the linguistic relativity of humor, according to which the habits in the use of joking in a certain society or group nontrivially influence the privateindividual uses of humor.
