Abstract
This paper stresses the relevance of taking into account that quite often information is structured, and therefore a standard aggregation focuss may produce misleading results, if such an approach assumes in fact that information does not present any particular structure, despite it is obvious such a structure exists. In this sense, this research is a consequence of a previous paper from the authors, already published in Fuzzy Sets and Systems (2007), where classical associative aggregation functions where linked to linear structures of data, meanwhile data quite often show a complex (non linear) structure moving within a spatial framework.
