Abstract
En el contexto social y económico mundial actual, continuar con la creación de un entorno laboral libre de violencia y acoso, basado en la dignidad y el respeto de todas las personas trabajadoras, es una tarea que compete a todos y cada uno de los países de la Unión Europea. En este artículo se analiza el origen del término acoso, su definición y aparición en la jurisprudencia europea, así como el conjunto de normas preventivas en los países de nuestro entorno, sin olvidar la importancia del acoso escolar.
In the current global social and economic context, continuing to create a world of work free of violence and harassment, based on the dignity and respect of all workers, is a struggle for each and every country in the European Union. This article analyses the genesis of the term harassment, its denomination and birth in European jurisprudence, as well as the set of preventive regulations in the countries around us, without forgetting the importance of bullying at school.
