Abstract
Se cita por primera vez Siagonium quadricorne Kirby & Spence, 1815 (Staphylinidae, Piestinae) para la fauna de España, con el estudio de un ejemplar hembra de Navarra (Bértiz). Se representa su distribución europea. Se incluye una fotografía del ejemplar. Se comentan sus preferencias ecológicas y biológicas como especie xilodetritícola.
Siagonium quadricorne Kirby & Spence, 1815, a new species for the Spanish fauna (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Piestinae). The first record of Siagonium quadricorne Kirby & Spence, 1815 (Staphylinidae, Piestinae) in Spain is established after the study of a female specimen from Navarre (Bértiz). Its biological and ecological preferences as a xylodetriticolous species are commented. Its European distribution is represented in a map. A photograph of the specimen is also included.
