| dc.description | The prints from the 16th and 17th centuries provide us with interesting heraldic and genealogical news about the people to whom the works are dedicated. Coats of arms appear on the covers and their names and titles appear in the dedications, but unfortunately, ancient book scholars They do not usually take advantage of this data, and few of those dedicated to heraldic and genealogical studies know these sources due to their scarce description in the catalogues. In this article we try to unite both studies through the data that appears in the work of Pedro de Irurozqui about the Cabrero family and the spectacular coat of arms on the cover of his book. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Los impresos de los siglos XVI y XVII nos aportan interesantes noticias heráldicas y genealógicas sobre las personas a las que se dedican las obras, aparecen en las portadas escudos de armas y en las dedicatorias aparecen sus nombres y títulos, pero desgraciadamente los estudiosos del libro antiguo no suelen aprovechar estos datos, y pocos de los que se dedican a los estudios heráldicos y genealógicos conocen estas fuentes por su escasa descripción en los catálogos.
