Responsible Research and Innovation in Robotics. Book of abstracts and presentations

Abstract

The INBOTS International Workshop on “Responsible Research and Innovation in Robotics” was held at UCM on the 12th of July, 2018. This workshop was jointly organized by the H2020 INBOTS Project on Inclusive Robotics for a better Society (G.A. No. 780073), The City Law School, Universidad Complutense Madrid and Instituto Cajal, with the support of: Santiago Mediano Abogados, CertificaRSE Project DER 2015-653704-R MINECO-FEDER on Legal-Financial Effects And Control Of The Social Impact For Sustainable Development: The Role Of Labels In The Investment And In The Public Contracts, led by Professor María Amparo Grau Ruiz from the Complutense University of Madrid, and the Neural Rehabilitation Group (NRG). There were two panels. The first panel dealt with Regulation and Robotics; the second panel was devoted to Responsible Innovation in Robotics; and the closing remarked was addressed to Ethical, Legal And Socio-Economic Issues affecting robotic companies and the potential of taxation to promote their Responsible Research and Innovation.

El 12 de julio de 2018 tuvo lugar en la UCM el Seminario Internacional INBOTS sobre "Investigación e innovación responsables en robótica". Este taller fue organizado conjuntamente por el Proyecto H2020 INBOTS sobre Robótica Inclusiva para una Sociedad mejor (G.A. No. 780073), la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y el Instituto Cajal, con el apoyo de Santiago Mediano Abogados, Proyecto CertificaRSE DER 2015-653704-R MINECO-FEDER sobre Efectos Legales-Financieros y Control del Impacto Social para el Desarrollo Sostenible: El papel de las etiquetas en la inversión y en los contratos públicos, a cargo de la profesora María Amparo Grau Ruiz de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, y el Grupo de Rehabilitación Neural (NRG). Había dos paneles. El primer panel trató de la Regulación y la Robótica; el segundo panel estuvo dedicado a la Innovación Responsable en Robótica; y la clausura se centró en los Aspectos Éticos, Jurídicos y Socio-Económicos que afectan a las empresas de robótica y el potencial de la fiscalidad para promover su Investigación e Innovación Responsables
