La escultura en piedra: tipos de piedra, herramientas de labra y sistemas de reproducción de esculturas

Abstract

Este tema, impartido en tercer curso del grado de Conservación y Restauración del Patrimonio Cultural de la UCM, hace una breve clasificación de las piedras más utilizadas en escultura y en edificación y de sus características, describe los sistemas de extracción y transporte, las herramientas de labra y los sistemas de reproducción para obtener diversas copias.

This class, taught in the third year of the degree of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the UCM, makes a brief classification of the stones most used in sculpture and building, as well as its characteristics. It also describes their extraction and transport systems, the carving tools and replica systems to obtain different copies.
