The labour impact of COVID-19 on Young Workers: The Role of Human Capital

Abstract

The aim of this project is to evaluate whether the educational level of young workers influenced the impact of Covid-19 on their employment situation. In addition, this study will analyse the extent to which the pandemic affected this group during the recession, including a brief comparison with other age cohorts to provide a broader perspective on its impact on young workers.El objetivo de este proyecto es evaluar si el nivel educativo de los trabajadores jóvenes infl o en el impacto que tuvo la Covid-19 sobre su situación laboral. Además, este estudio analizará hasta qué punto la pandemia afectó a este grupo durante esta crisis, incluyendo una breve comparación con otros grupos de edad para ofrecer una perspectiva más amplia sobre su impacto en los trabajadores jóvenes.
