Abstract
While the Greek ships swirled around in the Strait of Salamis, the rowers took the opportunity to regain their strength and fluff up their sheepskin cushions. The summer heat did not seem to affect them. Tension and nerves forced them to continue their frantic activity. The moment had arrived, and the fleet prepared for the decisive battle against the almighty armada of the Great King, Xerxes.
