Abstract
Los permanentes cambios que han traído las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) a la gestión empresarial han repercutido de forma considerable en la adopción de tecnologías en las empresas. Este artículo presenta una investigación realizada en empresas del área cultural del departamento de Bolívar en Colombia, que buscó comprender cuáles son los factores internos y externos que influyen a la hora de adoptar la tecnología. Es un estudio cualitativo con corte longitudinal, en el que se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad a 21 empresas en dos momentos, antes y después de la pandemia del Covid-19, para conocer las perspectivas y situaciones que han influido en el proceso de adopción de tecnología. Los resultados muestran que las empresas tienen una buena disposición para adoptar las tecnologías, están conscientes de su importancia y valoran las TIC como herramientas útiles para sus gestiones empresariales y comunicativas. Sin embargo, presentan barreras para la adopción asociadas especialmente a los costos y el uso de la tecnología.
The permanent changes that information and communication technologies (ICT) have brought to business management have had a considerable impact on the adoption of technologies in companies. This article presents a research conducted in companies in the cultural area of the department of Bolivar in Colombia, which sought to understand the internal and external factors that influence the adoption of technology. It is a qualitative study in which in-depth interviews were conducted with 21 companies before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to understand the perspectives and situations that have influenced the technology adoption process. The results show that companies are willing to adopt technologies, are aware of their importance and value ICTs as useful tools for their business and communication management. However, there are ba-rriers to adoption associated especially with costs and the use of technology
