Abstract
Few areas of the world and few national and international political entities carry out such persevering policies of collective reflection on their future. The extensive list of integration objectives, included in the Lisbon reform (art. 3 TEU), have in part been outdated or exceeded. The EU has a pending double federal leap: reforms in the rules for reviewing the Treaties and federal coercion. Various areas in which the EU will face its future and its internal and external identity are selectively examined: exemplary Europe, governable Europe, technologically autonomous Europe, influential Europe, militarily autonomous Europe and solidarity Europe.
