Abstract
En esta investigación se estudian los factores más relevantes que inciden en la resolución de tareas aditivas, tanto numéricas como verbales. Dos grupos de niños de 2° y 3° de E.G.B. pasan individualmente un conjunto de pruebas. Los resultados muestran la existencia de tres factores estadísticamente significativos: el tipo de problema planteado (numérico, verbal de cambio, verbal de comparación), el lugar ocupado por la incógnita (suma o sumandos) y la edad de los niños. Igualmente, el tipo de errores cometidos parece depender, no sólo de la edad de los sujetos, sino sobre todo de la categoría del problema planteado.
In this research the most relevant factors that influence the solving of additive tasks, numerical and verbal, are studied. Two groups of children from 2nd and 3rd of E.G.B. were individually administered a set of tests. The results show that there are there statiscally significant factors: the type of problem formulated (numerical, word change problems, comparison word problems), the place of the unknown (sum or addends) and children's age. Further, the kind of errors seems to depend not only on the subjects' age, but, above all, on the category of the problem formulated.
