Abstract
En los tiempos que corren, la gran mayoría hacemos uso de la tecnología, tanto para realizar nuestras acciones más cotidianas como en nuestro ámbito académico y/o profesional. En los últimos años, hemos presenciado un incremento significativo en la presencia y utilidad de la inteligencia artificial, ofreciendo una gran diversidad de facilidades al usuario.
Sin embargo, la implementación de la inteligencia artificial en los productos tecnológicos puede arrastrar y mantener los diversos problemas éticos desde la propia fase de su diseño. Es por ello, que, bajo esta problemática, las empresas que elaboran dicha tecnología deben estar concienciados con el poder de alcance que tienen y poner ciertas medidas preventivas en su diseño y desarrollo.
Tras este planteamiento, surge la inquietud de proponer como objetivo el desarrollo de una herramienta que prevea esta situación guiando a la empresa, a través de una serie de pautas, para generar diseños más éticos en los productos con inteligencia artificial. Tomando las directrices de diseño ético en la IA de la Unión Europea se ha conseguido elaborar una herramienta compuesta por diversos cuestionarios.
In current times, the vast majority of society makes a daily use of technology, varying its uses from carrying out trivial daily tasks to playing an indispensable role in academic and professional scenes. In recent years, we have especially witnessed a significant increase in the presence of artificial intelligence, which offers a variety of useful features that have proven convenient to different types of users. However, the implementation of artificial intelligence in itself can carry and perpetuate various ethical issues from the very core of its design. It is for this reason that, faced with this issue, companies involved in the development of such technologies must be conscious of the reach and power of their decisions. For this, it is only right that they institute certain preventive measures in the design and development processes of these technologies. Based on this premise, this initiative proposes the creation of a tool that anticipates this situation, guiding companies through a series of guidelines to ensure more ethical product designs with artificial intelligence. Drawing from the ethical design guidelines in AI set forth by the European Union, a tool composed of various questionnaires has been devised.
