La violencia contra exguerrilleros de las FARC-EP desde una perspectiva territorial (2016-2020)

dc.description.abstractEl siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la violencia homicida contra exguerrilleros de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia – Ejército del Pueblo (FARC-EP) acontecida en Colombia, entre la firma del Acuerdo de Paz, en noviembre de 2016, y mayo de 2020. A lo largo de estos tres años y medio se han producido un total de 194 muertes de excombatientes de la guerrilla, de manera que se propone un modelo de evaluación del peligro, a partir de una mirada territorial que toma como unidad de análisis el departamento. Tras la correlación de variables cuantitativas, relacionadas con el número de homicidios, a partir de un coeficiente de Pearson, y con una correlación de Spearman que analiza el impacto de variables ordinales como la presencia de estructuras criminales o la capacidad operativa e intencional de atentar contra exguerrilleros, se confirma la importancia de estos factores para comprender dicho fenómeno criminal. El resultado es un modelo explicativo y de alta correlación con las frecuencias relativas del homicidio de excombatientes en departamentos periféricos y de marcada impronta rural.
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work is to analyze the homicidal violence against former combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – The Army of the People (FARC-EP for its acronym in Spanish) that happened in Colombia between the signing of the Peace Agreement, in November 2016, and May 2020. Throughout these three and a half years there has been a total of 194 deaths of former guerrilla combatants, so that a model for assessing the danger based on a territorial perspective, that uses the Department as the unit of analysis, is proposed. After the correlation of quantitative variables, related to the number of homicides, from a Pearson coefficient and with a Spearman correlation that analyzes the impact of ordinal variables such as the presence of criminal structures or the operational and intentional capacity to attack against former combatants, this work confirms the importance of these factors to understand this criminal phenomenon. The result is an explanatory model with a high correlation with the relative frequencies of the homicide of former combatants in peripheral Departments and with a marked rural imprint.
