Claudio Guillén ante la obra lírica de su padre

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este artículo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer la visión de Claudio Guillén sobre la obra lírica de su padre, el poeta Jorge Guillén, desde una perspectiva crítica. El comparatista pocas veces se pronunció al respecto; lo hizo en dos homenajes a la figura del escritor celebrados en Barcelona y Lisboa en 1994 y 1998. Sus intervenciones, tituladas «Algunos recuerdos» y «Con Jorge Guillén», van a ser la fuente fundamental de este trabajo, a la que se va a unir la correspondencia, cartas inéditas familiares con importante información sobre el tema.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this article is to present Claudio Guillén’s vision of the lyrical work of his father, the poet Jorge Guillén, from a critical perspective. The comparatist rarely spoke on the subject; he did so in two tributes to the writer held in Barcelona and Lisbon in 1994 and 1998. His speeches, entitled «Algunos recuerdos» and “Con Jorge Guillén”, will be the fundamental source of this work, along with additional correspondence, unpublished family letters with important information on the subject.
