Abstract
Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster aborda el fenómeno de la incorporación de archivos privados a instituciones públicas del estado de Aguascalientes, México. A partir de una revisión bibliográfica y legal sobre el tratamiento de archivos privados en el ámbito archivístico, analizando la legislación federal y estatal aplicable, así como un estudio de campo de las prácticas actuales en esta materia.
La investigación combina métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario y una serie de entrevistas a responsables de archivos en instituciones públicas de Aguascalientes.
Como resultado, se identificaron las instituciones que han incorporado archivos privados, se elaboró un censo de los archivos privados en custodia de dichas instituciones. Finalmente se identificó el proceso que estas instituciones siguen para incorporar este tipo de archivos.
This work focuses on the process of transferring private archives to public institutions in the state of Aguascalientes, México. This mixed methods analysis includes a literature review of private archives processing in the archival sector, an analysis of federal and state laws, and a field survey of current practices. The research combines qualitative and quantitative methods through the application of a questionnaire and a series of interviews with archive directors in public institutions in Aguascalientes. Through this analysis, we have identified which institutions acquire and accession archives, as well as a list of private archives located within these institutions. Finally, we have identified and analyzed the process followed by these institutions when acquiring and accessioning private archives.
