Abstract

This document contains ten texts in Damascus Arabic, adapted for classroom use. Each text is accompanied by vocabulary, activities, and the English translation. The texts were collected by the author in Damascus between 2007 and 2008 using a voice recorder. The participants were men and women under the age of 30. To ensure their spontaneity, no preparation or rehearsal was conducted prior to the recording.
