Abstract
La autocracia y la Iglesia ortodoxa han sido dos pilares fundamentales en la construcción del nacionalismo ruso, que ha sobrevivido a los diferentes procesos de construcción estatal y a múltiples formas de relación con los pueblos no
rusos. La Federación Rusa actual ha vivido un proceso de apropiación y exaltación del ideario nacionalista, convirtiendo en cotidianos los discursos patrióticos, civilizatorios y eurasianistas más radicales sobre los que impulsa un consenso social. El deterioro de las relaciones entre Rusia y Occidente, que se inicia en 2007, ha afilado el discurso imperial de Putin haciendo valer la importancia de Ucrania en el imaginario político y emocional ruso de forma
definitiva y violenta en febrero de 2022.
The autocracy and the Orthodox Church have been two fundamental pillars in the construction of Russian nationalism. This nationalism has survived the different processes of state building and multiple forms of relations with non-Russian peoples. The current Russian Federation has undergone a process of appropriation and exaltation of the nationalist ideology. The most radical patriotic, civilizing and Eurasianist discourses, on which a social consensus is promoted, have become a daily occurrence. The deterioration of relations between Russia and the West, which began in 2007, has sharpened Putin's imperial discourse by asserting the importance of Ukraine in the Russian political and emotional imaginary in a definitive and violent way in 2022.
