Patrimonio artístico durante la Guerra civil y la posguerra: investigación, catalogación y gestión digital del arte salvado

Abstract

Esta investigación estudia y cataloga las miles de obras salvadas y depositadas en lugares seguros por la República durante la Guerra civil española, e indaga el destino de estas obras durante la posguerra bajo el régimen de Franco. Se ha creado una sede web con una base de datos narrativa, participativa, accesible y abierta que permite el análisis y la colaboración de otros investigadores y de cualquier persona interesada. El objetivo es aunar la indagación histórico-patrimonial y la gestión digital colaborativa y abierta para compartir con la sociedad los resultados de una investigación pendiente. Se aprovechan las posibilidades de la web 2.0, de la web semántica, de la geolocalización y de la inteligencia artificial para seguir los avatares de las obras. Siempre se utiliza software libre, al que se le añaden los algoritmos y las aplicaciones necesarias para su optimización. Estas aportaciones también pasan a formar parte del dominio público.

This research analyzes and catalogs the thousands of works rescued and deposited in safe places by the Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War and checks the destination of these works during the postwar period under the Franco regime. A web site with a narrative and participative database, open and accessible, that would allow analysis, collaboration from other investigators and interested people was created. The objective of this site is to establish the confluence between historic and heritage-oriented inquiry and collaborative and open management to transmit to society the results of a pending investigation. The possibilities offered by the 2.0 semantic web and of artificial intelligence are taken advantage of in order to follow the destinations of the works. Free software is always used, with added algorithms and applications necessary for their optimization. These inputs will also become part of the public domain.
