Calizas de crinoides del Carixiense subbético: historia diagenética

Abstract

En este trabajo se discute la historia diagenética de las calizas de crinoides existentes en el Carixiense (Jurásico inferior) del sector central de la Zona Subbética (Zonas Externas, Cordilleras Béticas). Los acontecimientos diagenéticos más importantes registrados son los siguientes: la cementación de la facies y la formación local de dolomita en la diagénesis temprana; el desarrollo de estilolitos, y la formación de nódulos de sílex en la base de las calizas, en la mesodiagénesis, y, por último, los rellenos por calcita espática de fracturas y venas en la diagénesis tardía. [ABSTRACT] The diagenetic history of the Carixian (Lower Jurassic) crinoidal Jimestones outcropping in the central pan of the Subbetic Zone (External Zones, Betic Cordillera) is discussed in this paper. The most important diagenetic events that are registered are the followings: the cementation of the facies, and the local formation of dolomite, during early diagenesis; the development of stylolites and the formation of chert nodules at the base of these limestones during mid-diagenesis, and finally, the filling of fradures and veins by sparry calcite during late diagenesis.
