Abstract
El movimiento del acceso abierto y la tendencia de los repositorios institucionales en África permiten desarrollar nuevas estrategias para la divulgación de la producción científica en la educación superior. Para conocerlas se ha seleccionado información en la base de datos Registry of Open Access Repository Mandates and Policies (ROARMAP), el directorio de repositorios Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR) y el directorio Open Access Directory (OAD). El presente estudio aborda el desarrollo de repositorios, políticas y organizaciones y herramientas que contribuyen a la promoción del acceso abierto. Se presenta los logros alcanzados a favor de visibilidad de la producción científica africana, divulgación del conocimiento y las herramientas de publicación por medio de la vía verde. Hemos notado una participación significativa, aún por expandirse para integrarse al continuo cambio del contexto internacional.

This study addresses the development of repositories, policies and organizations and tools that contribute to the promotion of open access. Achievements in favor of visibility of the African scientific production, dissemination of knowledge and publishing tools through the greenway is presented.
