La integración de los inmigrantes: conceptualización y análisis

Abstract

Este artículo es una reflexión crítica sobre la forma de conceptualizar la integración en diferentes estudios sobre el tema, que pretende aportar algunos elementos útiles para abordarla de una manera más analítica. A partir de una revisión bibliográfica, el artículo recoge múltiples modos de conceptualizar la integración, así como el distinto uso del término en ámbitos diversos. Con esto se busca tanto aunar criterios como fijar los elementos a tener en cuenta para analizar la integración. El artículo contribuye al debate sobre la cuestión planteando nuevas preguntas sobre el análisis de la integración.The objectives of this paper are to offer a critical reflection on the way of conceptualizing immigrant integration in order to contribute to its understanding. The paper gathers multiple ways of conceptualizing the integration as well as the different use of the term in different areas. It seeks both to unify criteria and fixing the elements to analyze integration. Finally it contributes to the debate on the topic raising new questions for integration analysis
