FÁBULAS DEL VEINTITRÉS RELATOS DE HUMANOS BESTIALIZADOS, IDENTIDADES ANIMALES Y SU REPRESENTACIÓN ARTÍSTICA

Abstract

El objeto de estudio de este trabajo son las fábulas, partiendo de ellas como base principal para entender las representaciones artísticas que se han realizado a lo largo de los años de animales antropomorfizados (y seres humanos animalizados). Además de analizarlas brevemente como género literario, referiremos las supuestas implicaciones culturales y sociales que conllevan, tratando distintos conceptos; filosóficos, estéticos y/o literarios, para intentar comprender la importancia del imaginario que las fábulas han creado hasta nuestros días. Para esto último, explicaremos con ejemplos y diferentes estudios la repercusión de los personajes antropomorfizados que nos rodean en los diferentes medios y en todas las distintas industrias de nuestra época, hablando además de la subcultura furry como puente entre la identidad humano-animal. Finalmente, expondremos la propuesta artística relacionada con este estudio: un libro de artista recopilatorio de fábulas personales.

The object of study of this document are fables, starting from them as the main basis to understand the artistic representations that have been depicted over the years of anthropomorphized animals (and animalized human beings). In addition to briefly analyzing them as a literary genre, we will refer to the supposed cultural and social implications that they entail, dealing with different concepts; philosophical, aesthetic and/or literary, to try to understand the importance of the imaginary that fables have created to this day. For the latter, we will explain with examples and different studies the repercussion of the anthropomorphized characters which appear in the different media and in all the different industries of our time period, also talking about the furry subculture as a bridge between the human-animal identity. Finally, we will present the artistic proposal related to this study: a compilation artist's book of personal fables.
