La presencia femenina en la Documentación

Abstract

Se presenta un breve repaso histórico sobre la presencia femenina en los archivos y las bibliotecas de la Antigüedad, el Medioevo y los años que siguieron a la Revolución francesa. Se hace hincapié en el acceso de la mujer a estas enseñanzas en la Universidad Complutense, particularmente en la Escuela Universitaria de Biblioteconomía y Documentación, así como su incorporación al mercado laboral, usando como ejemplo las propias bibliotecas complutenses y la Biblioteca Nacional de España.

[ABSTRACT]We present a brief historical review about the presence of women in the archives and libraries of Classical Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the years following the French Revolution. We emphasize on access of women in these teachings in the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), particularly in the Escuela Universitaria de Biblioteconomía y Documentación (College of Library Science), and its incorporation to the labor market, using as example the themselves complutensis libraries and the Biblioteca Nacional de España (National Library of Spain).
