La vorágine de José Eustasio Rivera: génesis y edición crítica

Abstract

La tesis es una investigación hecha a partir del trabajo de edición genética de La vorágine (1924), novela de José Eustasio Rivera. De manera que, como trabajo previo a la tesis doctoral se realizó una edición de la novela que incluye, por un lado, la transcripción diplomática de los manuscritos y, por otro, una edición de la obra que parte de la última edición cuidada por el autor (1928) y en el aparato crítico se presentan las variantes de autor establecidas a partir del cotejo entre los manuscritos y la primera, segunda, tercera y última edición, cuidadas por Rivera. Ambos documentos (transcripción y edición) se anexan a esta tesis. A partir de este trabajo previo se realizó un análisis del proceso creativo de la novela, cuyo resultado constituye la tesis doctoral que se resume a continuación.La thèse est un travail de recherche fondé sur l’édition génétique de La vorágine (1924), roman de José Eustasio Rivera. Dans le cadre des travaux préparatoires à la rédaction de cette thèse, une édition critique du roman a été élaborée. Celle-ci comprend, d’une part, la transcription diplomatique des manuscrits et, d’autre part, une édition de l’œuvre fondée sur la dernière version publiée par l’auteur en 1928. L’appareil critique présente les variantes d’auteur établies à partir de la collation des manuscrits et des première, deuxième, troisième et dernière édition publiée du vivant de Rivera.The thesis is the product of research based on the genetic editing work of La vorágine (1924), the novel by José Eustasio Rivera. As preliminary work for the doctoral thesis, an edition of the novel was produced that includes, on the one hand, a diplomatic transcription of the manuscripts, and on the other, an edition of the work based on Rivera’s final edition (1928). The critical apparatus presents the variants established by the author, drawn from the comparison between the manuscripts and the first, second, third, and final editions published during Rivera’s lifetime. Both documents (transcription and edition) are annexed to this thesis.
