Nuevas identificaciones heráldicas en superlibros y exlibris de la biblioteca histórica de la universidad complutense de madrid

Abstract

En la revisión heráldica de elementos de procedencia, que se está realizando sobre ejemplares de libros editados en los siglos XVI y XVII existentes en la Biblioteca Histórica de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, se ha conseguido identificar y datar algunos de ellos que hasta ahora estaban o no identificados o consideramos que mal atribuidos, todo ello gracias a estudios en detalle heráldicos, nobiliarios y genealógicos, dentro de las actividades patrocinadas por la Real Academia Matritense de Heráldica y Genealogía en su colaboración permanente con otras instituciones.In the heraldic revision of elements of provenance, which is being carried out on copies of books published in the 16th and 17th centuries in the Historical Library of the Complutense University of Madrid, it has been possible to identify and date some of them that until now were either unidentified or, we believe, misattributed, thanks to detailed heraldic, nobiliary and genealogical studies, within the activities sponsored by the Royal Matritense Academy of Heraldry and Genealogy in its permanent collaboration with other institutions.
