Abstract
Fear is a polymorphous emotion that surrounds and constitutes exiles and forced migration. It also operates at various levels that intertwine, feedback and expand: migrants/exiles experience it in their bodies. It is also built to affect receiving states promoting anti-immigrant and security policies that, at the same time, turn them into an object of fear. To delve into this complexity, we will analyse here various materials (media, intimate, etc.), their imaginaries, discourses and narratives and the reactions they provoke (securitarian and others) to map where and how fear operates.
