La aventura sagrada. Arquitectura del viaje iniciático en La Demanda del Santo Graal

Abstract

Este trabajo explora la arquitectura de la Demanda del Santo Graal entendida como un viaje de iniciación, a través de una visión que toma por centro las Estructuras antropológicas del imaginario de Gilbert Durand. Con ello se pretende lograr un estudio hermenéutico que muestre no solamente el trayecto antropológico entre un autor anónimo y las figuras culturales de su tiempo sino, sobre todo, una nueva herramienta que ayude a entender mejor el profundo y rico simbolismo del que forma parte esta obra medieval, inmersa dentro de un gigantesco universo artúrico. También está presente el trayecto del héroe de Joseph Campbell, así como las figuras del destino analizadas por Victoria Cirlot.

This paper explores the architecture of the Quest of the Holy Grail understood as a journey of initiation, focusing through the anthropological structures of the imaginary by Gilbert Durand. This hopes to achieve a hermeneutical study that shows not only the anthropological journey between an anonymous author and the cultural figures of his time but, above all , a new tool for a better understanding of the deep and rich symbolism of this medieval work immersed in a huge Arthurian universe. Also in this work is the heroes journey of Joseph Campbell, as well as the Fate figures analyzed by Victoria Cirlot.
