Abstract
Este estudio plantea un análisis de la poética de las comparsas elaboradas hasta el momento por el autor gaditano de carnaval Antonio Martínez Ares. Para contextualizar este propósito, se parte de la consideración de las letras de las canciones como literatura y se relaciona esta cuestión con los orígenes orales de la propia literatura. Asimismo, se esboza un marco general para comprender qué es el carnaval a nivel global y, más adelante, a nivel local en el entorno de Cádiz. Además, explica el nacimiento de la comparsa, modalidad de carnaval propia de las obras analizadas. El prisma de este estudio no pretende utilizar los repertorios de carnaval para estudiar cuestiones exógenas o con el objetivo de utilizarlo para aplicaciones concretas. La presente tesis plantea un análisis de la estilística de la obra de un autor consagrado en la modalidad de comparsas del Carnaval de Cádiz para estudiar sus características en profundidad y pretende continuar en la línea de puesta en valor del importante patrimonio cultural que el Carnaval de Cádiz genera cada año...
This study presents an analysis of the poetics of the carnival groups (“comparsas”) created to date by the Carnival author from Cadiz, Antonio Martínez Ares. To contextualize this purpose, the consideration of song lyrics as literature is basic and this issue is related to the oral origins of literature itself. In addition, a general framework is outlined to understand what Carnival is globally, and later, at the local level in Cadiz itself. Furthermore, the birth of the “comparsa” is explained, a Carnival modality specific to the works analyzed.The prism of this study does not intend to use Carnival repertoires to study exogenous issues or for specific applications. This thesis proposes an analysis of the stylistics of the work of a renowned author in the “comparsa” modality of the Carnival of Cadiz to analyze its characteristics in depth and intends to continue in the line of valuing the important cultural heritage that the Carnival of Cadiz generates every year...
