Situación actual y utilidad práctica de la cirugía en vivo

Abstract

La cirugía en vivo (CEV) o cirugía en directo (CED) es una herramienta que ha desarrollado una gran difusión en los ámbitos científico y formativo de la medicina en los últimos años. A la misma velocidad que ha evolucionado su desarrollo, lo han hecho las necesidades médico-legales y éticas que ha generado. Son múltiples las variables que se modifican en una CEV respecto a un procedimiento quirúrgico habitual, poniendo en duda en determinados casos la preservación total de la privacidad y seguridad del paciente. Por ello, el objetivo de esta Tesis Doctoral es conocer la situación actual de la CEV en nuestro medio y si ésta ofrece las mismas medidas de seguridad y privacidad a nuestros pacientes que un procedimiento quirúrgico rutinario. Del mismo modo, y como objetivos secundarios, se analizarán el interés formativo y/o comercial de la CED como causas de su desarrollo, el conocimiento de los participantes sobre su regulación así como sus necesidades al respecto y las características de la población encuestada así como su representatividad...Live surgery broadcast (LSB) is a tool that has developed a wide spread in the scientific and educational fields of medicine in recent years. At the same speed that its development has evolved, the medical-legal and ethical needs it has generated have done. There are multiple variables that are modified in a LSB with respect to a usual surgical procedure, putting in doubt in certain cases the total preservation of the privacy and safety of the patient.
