Abstract
La tesis doctoral que aquí se presenta pretende realizar un análisis de la producción artística con discursos identitarios gays realizada en el panorama español en los últimos quince años, es decir, entre 2005 y 2020. Para este estudio se ha tenido en cuenta, por un lado, los imaginarios que vertebran la identidad gay global contemporánea, y, por otro lado, el contexto sociohistórico del momento presente, con especial importancia al impacto social que ha tenido los avances científicos en el tratamiento del VIH, en concreto, el desarrollo de la PrEP o tratamiento pre-expositivo. This doctoral thesis aims to carry out an analysis of the artistic production with gay identity discourses produced in Spain in the last fifteen years, that is, between 2005 and 2020. For this study we have considered, on the one hand, the imaginaries that structure contemporary global gay identity and, on the other hand, the socio-historical context of the present moment, with special importance given to the social impact of scientific advances in the treatment of HIV, specifically the development of PrEP or pre-exposure prophylaxis.To this end, an analysis has been made of the two main imaginaries that structure gay identity today, that of the liberation of desire as an escape route from the oppression of the capitalist system and that of the AIDS crisis, which, on the contrary, marked a new discipline of desire...
